Delivery and Returns & Warranty

Delivery

Many fast-moving parts are held within our UK stock and are ready to be sent. The service we use to send our parts depends on the weight, size, value and destination of the parts ordered. We use Royal Mail or DPD generally.

 

Rieju Back Orders – For back-order Rieju parts that need to be ordered from Rieju Spain the approximate time for delivery of these parts to you will be 10-14 working days. Occasionally Spanish holidays may interfere with this timescale especially during August when the factory in Spain closes for 2/3 weeks.

 

Sur-Ron Back Orders – For back-order parts that need to be ordered from the Sur-Ron factory the approximate time for delivery of these parts can be up 6 or 8 weeks. Occasionally Chinese holidays may interfere with this timescale especially during February when the factory closes for Chinese new year.

 

Once you have placed your order you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. Please always try to include your email and mobile telephone number at the point of order so that tracking can be sent to you. When your order has left our UK warehouse, we will update you again via email/text (if you have provided this information) with your tracking information (if tracking is relevant, some smaller items will be sent Royal Mail 1st Class and will not have tracking).

 

Our standard delivery charge for UK orders is £4.99, however in some instances when you get to check out you may see a higher or lower cost than this, we have added extra compensation costs for higher value/special order items like CDI’s & Wiring Looms to name a couple and also extra costs may appear for large items like wheels & tyres. We have also added some smaller items with lower shipping costs.

 

If your order has some fast-moving stocked items and also some back-order items we will normally only despatch when the order is complete. If, however you wish for your stocked items to be sent immediately and your back-order parts to follow (for example 2 parcels to be sent in total) then we will require an extra payment to cover this depending on the weight, size and destination of the parts ordered. Please make contact with us to send the stocked items and we will advise which extra payment option to choose and purchase.

 

Returns

28 calendar days are allowed to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. The item must be in the original packaging.

Once we receive the item(s) back, we will inspect them and then if returned within the time period of 28 days, un-used and in full original packaging we will issue the refund using the same method of payment that was used when making the purchase. We will not refund any postage fees incurred at the time of purchase. The refund may take a few days to process. If, however it is a mistake on our part we will of course refund any postage charges up to the original shipping cost.

We are unable to offer the standard returns policy on any item indicated with Special Order, these tend to be mainly electrical items like CDI’s and Looms and also many Plastics and Decals. Special Order items are non-refundable, so please take extra care when ordering these. If a Special Order is made and then the customer cancels their order after the product has already been shipped to/received by us, we reserve the right to charge a 25% handling and stocking fee. This is due to the fact that we are unable to return stock to the manufacturer once delivered unless there is a genuine fault with the product.

If we receive items back and they were either a special-order item, not returned within 28 days, not in re-saleable original packaging or used in any way your refund will be subject to a 25% handling and stocking fee. This fee is 25% of the value of the item(s) received. We will not refund any postage fees incurred at the time of purchase or incurred in the sending of the items back to us. If, however it is a mistake on our part we will of course refund any postage charges up to the original shipping cost.

Shortages and Damaged Goods

Shortages or damaged goods must be advised within 48 hours of receipt of the parcel and all damaged packaging, including the box should be retained. If received damaged goods/parcel/packet via any courier please ensure that they are signed as damaged upon removal. Also a good idea to photograph damage.

Warranty

All products supplied are guaranteed to be free of defects in material and workmanship. We will repair or replace, free of charge, any pieces we recognise to be faulty. Said goods have to be returned, free, to our warehouse, packing and duties included. We make no other warranty of any kind, whether expressed or implied and do not take any responsibility for consequential damages involved in the use of the products, even if defective.

Disclaimer

We reserve the right to refuse to offer a refund or to offer only a partial refund if an unwanted or unsuitable product is returned to us showing signs of having already been fitted or used.
